Kristen Karlovich leads all her designs with empathy. A creative product designer who finds inspiration in every project. She focuses on healthcare design but finds joy in helping other ventures and industries succeed. She blends functionality, emotional resonance, and artistry to enhance well-being. Her innovative approach consistently delivers impactful solutions that thoughtfully address users' needs.
Human Factr
Check out Kristen's young company Human Factr, a medical device and therapeutic resources startup dedicated to building the bridge between customers and vendors to provide access to at-home medical devices and therapeutic care resources utilizing the research and development of AI.
Human Factr emerged in 2020 during Kristen's time as an undergrad student studying product design at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

She progressed the start-up while earning a Master of Research at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College completing her research in spring of 2024. Though she has made great strides, the work is not over yet. To learn more click the links below.
ROGERS LIMB SUPPORT
The Rogers Limb Support was Kristen's First patented design. Working closely with Colleen Roger, RN, Mainline Health, she took her concept to market through a portfolio company, Lankenau Ventures. Kristen was the sole designer and engineer of the product. Everything surrounding the physical design, website, marketing, and published papers was all done by Kristen with the help of her team at Mainline Health, L2C Partners, and Early Charm Ventures.
IMERS
IMERS: MICA DISSERTATION
Check out Kristen's senior thesis video "Imers". Imers is a preventative therapeutic device for children's mental health development. She spent 2020-2021 researching, testing, and developing a product that combines the medical world with interactive fun.
